Save the Planet 2016 presents advanced waste management solutions on South-East European market

Running from 5 to 7 April 2016 in Sofia, Bulgaria, Save the Planet is a prominent event in South-East Europe timely replying to the present environmental challenges.

The first session is dedicated to the ‘Circular Economy’. Representatives of DG Environment, EC, European Federation of Waste Management and Environmental Services, Bulgarian Ministry of Environment, Think Beyond Plastic, etc. have joined the speaker lineup. They will make an overview of the European legislation and targets, innovations in plastic, construction & demolition materials recycling.   


Another accent will be the session: How to Turn Waste into Resource? Speakers from ProPellets, Austria; European Biogas Association; Romanian Association of Biomass and Biogas; Bulgarian Soft Drinks Association and Bulgarian Chamber of Woodworking and Furniture will present the latest developments. The session will be of interest to the stakeholders working in food, agriculture and wood processing sectors.

Leading companies from Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Poland, Slovakia and Switzerland will participate. Finding distributors and launching new products are among the main reasons for them to be part of the event.

Participants announce that most of their solutions are high-efficient and energy-saving. They are applicable for treatment and recycling of plastic, bio-, construction, paper waste materials, etc. An eye-catching exhibits will be an identification system for waste disposal and specialized vehicles for the collection and transportation of waste. Exhibitors will present also an improved waste-to-energy (WtE) solutions for municipal solid waste (MSW). For the first time an innovation that helps eliminate acid pollutants will be promoted.
